Is this good for first-time solo travellers?
It's built for them. Most of the group arrives alone, and the whole trip is designed so you never have to figure out the hard parts by yourself.
Who else will be on the trip?
8 to 12 travellers, hand-matched, mixed ages, overwhelmingly solo. We share a group intro before departure so no one walks in cold.
How does rooming work? Is there a single supplement?
Twin-share is the default and we match you with someone on your wavelength — no single supplement. Prefer your own room? Choose Private at booking.
How fit do I need to be?
This is a remote expedition with long travel hours. Limited network connectivity throughout Zanskar. Weather conditions can change rapidly. Carry valid ID proof for permits. Basic facilities in remote areas—expect raw travel experience. General Travel Guidelines Room sharing upgrades and bike deposits (if applicable) will apply. The itinerary may be subject to change due to weather conditions, road closures, altitude challenges, or the physical ability of participants. We reserve the right to modify schedules in the interest of safety, comfort, and overall well-being. The age limit for group departures is 16 to 45 years due to the physically demanding nature of the itinerary. Travellers outside this bracket may opt for customised private trips.
