Day 1 - Arrival in Manali – A Gentle Start

Day 2 - Manali → Sarchu – Into the High Himalayas

Today, you leave comfort behind and step into raw Himalayan terrain.

Drive through the engineering marvel of the Atal Tunnel, emerging into landscapes that feel dramatically different. Continue across Baralacha La Pass, where snow-capped peaks and vast barren stretches surround you.

The journey to Sarchu is long, but every turn offers views that make it worthwhile.

Day 3 - Sarchu → Leh - Roads That Test and Reward

This is one of the most thrilling drives of your trip.

Navigate the iconic Gata Loops, a series of sharp bends that wind through the mountains.

Cross Lachung La and Tanglang La Pass, where the altitude reminds you just how high you’ve come.

By the time you reach Leh, you’ve already lived an experience many only dream of.

Day 4 - Exploring Leh – Where Culture Meets Landscape

After breakfast, your journey truly begins.

Drive through the fascinating Magnetic Hill, where reality seems to bend. Stop at Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, a place of deep spiritual calm. Witness the powerful meeting of rivers at the Indus–Zanskar Sangam.

As the day unfolds, you’ll visit the iconic Shanti Stupa, offering panoramic views of Leh, and the historic Leh Palace, standing tall with stories of the past.

End your day walking through Leh Market—colorful, lively, and full of local charm.

Day 5 - Leh → Nubra Valley via Khardung La

The adventure continues as you ride/drive over Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads in the world.

As you descend into Nubra Valley, the landscape transforms into a cold desert —vast, open, and strikingly beautiful.

Visit Diskit Monastery, overlooking the valley, and explore the unique Hunder Sand Dunes, where double-humped camels roam against a surreal backdrop.

Day 6 - Nubra → Pangong - The Scenic Transition

Today’s route via the Shyok Valley is one of Ladakh’s hidden gems.

The road hugs rivers, cuts through mountains, and constantly surprises you with changing landscapes.

And then, you arrive at Pangong Lake—a vast stretch of water that reflects the sky in shades of blue you didn’t know existed. It’s quiet, powerful, and humbling.

Day 7 - Pangong → Hanle - Journey from Pangong to hanle with rezangla war memorial

Today, the journey takes you beyond the usual Ladakh routes.

Drive through Chushul village, a place steeped in history, and visit the Rezang La War Memorial, a powerful reminder of bravery and sacrifice.

Continue towards Koyul/Hanle, where the landscape becomes more remote, more silent, and incredibly raw.

Day 8 - UmlingLa, Demchok and transfer to tso moriri – The Ultimate Achievement

This is the day that defines the entire expedition.

Ride/drive to Umling La Pass, the highest motorable road in the world. At this altitude, everything feels surreal—the air, the silence, the sense of accomplishment.

Continue to Demchok, the last village near the Indo-China border, where the land feels untouched and almost otherworldly.

Return by evening, carrying a story that very few people get to tell.

Day 9 - Tso Moriri → sarchu - Serenity After Adventure

Begin your return journey via Tso Kar Lake, known for its stark beauty and open landscapes.

As you ride back to Sarchu, there’s a quiet realization—this journey is coming to an end, but the experience will stay with you long after.

Day 10 - Sarchu → Manali – Back to Civilization

Drive back to Manali, retracing your path through the mountains.

By evening, board your overnight Volvo to Delhi—leaving behind the Himalayas, but carrying their silence within you.

Day 11 - Manali → Delhi | The Journey Becomes Memory

Wake up to a leisurely morning in Manali and have your breakfast at the hotel.

You can then spend the day at leisure exploring Manali’s charming attractions on your own.

You can start your sightseeing by visiting the famous Hidimba Temple, dedicated to the wife of Bheem.

Further, you can relax in the natural hot springs of Vashisht Temple which is dedicated to sage Vashisht, teacher of Lord Ram.

After exploring various attractions, you can shop and eat around the famous Mall Road.
