Upon arrival, you’ll be received at the airport and transferred to your hotel.
The day is intentionally kept free, allowing your body to gently acclimatise to the
high altitude.


Take it slow—sip warm tea, stay hydrated, and let Ladakh introduce itself at its own pace.

Today, the real adventure begins

Drive across the legendary Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads
in the world. As you climb higher, the air gets thinner and the views more dramatic.

Descending into Nubra Valley feels like entering another world—a cold desert
surrounded by towering mountains.

Visit Diskit Monastery, home to a giant Maitreya Buddha statue overlooking the valley.
Later, explore Hunder Sand Dunes, where double-humped camels roam against a
surreal Himalayan backdrop.

Begin your return journey to Leh via the Chumathang route, known for its geothermal
hot springs and scenic beauty.

Hemis Monastery, one of the richest and most significant monasteries in Ladakh

Day 7: Leh Local Sightseeing – Culture, Landscapes & Stories

Today, you begin exploring the heart of Leh.

Drive to the fascinating Magnetic Hill, where gravity seems to defy logic. Visit the
peaceful Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, followed by the striking Indus–Zanskar Sangam,
where two rivers merge in contrasting colours.

Continue to the Hall of Fame, a tribute to the Indian Army, before heading to
Shanti Stupa for panoramic views of Leh. Explore the historic Leh Palace and
end your day wandering through the vibrant Leh market.

Any case in which a partial refund will be issued will be calculated after deducting the 
Booking Amount and Cancellation Charges depending on the time of Cancellation. 

Remaining Amount : 

Will be calculated on the amount paid over and above the booking amount. 

Bypass Policy : 

Any and all Cancellation Policies are superseded by the Emergency Case Cancellation 
Policy in case of situations such as war, pandemics, force majeure, or similar 
extraordinary events affecting the tour region.

Important Notes for Travelers
  • Standard hotel check-in time is 2:00 PM and check-out time is 11:00 noon. 
  • Airport and intercity transfers operate on fixed schedules. 
  • Guests are required to assemble at the airport by 1:00 pm 
  • Hotel departure for transfers is scheduled at 3:00 pm 
  • Acclimatisation is crucial; follow instructions carefully on Day 1
  • Umling La & Hanle routes are subject to permits & weather conditions
  • Carry valid ID proof at all times
  • Network connectivity is limited in remote areas
  • This itinerary involves long travel hours due to terrain
  • For biking option bikers will have to drive around 150 to 260 km daily

 

General Travel Guidelines
  • Room sharing upgrades and bike deposits (if applicable) will apply. 
  • The itinerary may be subject to change due to weather conditions, road closures, altitude challenges, or the physical ability of participants. We reserve the right to modify schedules in the interest of safety, comfort, and overall well-being. 
  • The age limit for group departures is 16 to 45 years due to the physically demanding nature of the itinerary. Travellers outside this bracket may opt for customised private trips. 
  • Ladakh is a high-altitude region; travellers are advised to stay hydrated and avoid alcohol or strenuous activity during the initial days of acclimatisation. 
  • Accommodation type may vary depending on location and availability. 
  • Meals will be provided as per the MAP plan; menu preferences may require personal adjustments. 
  • Certain activities, such as bonfires, are subject to weather conditions. 
  • Travellers are advised to carry buffer cash for optional expenses, adequate warm clothing, and power banks
  • Weather and road conditions may impact daily schedules.

 

Biking Expedition Guidelines
  • 450cc bike is available at an additional cost of ₹6,800
  • refundable security deposit of ₹5,000 must be submitted before the start of the trip. 
  • Any damage to the bike (except engine damage) will be borne directly by the client. 
  • The biking option is available from 30th April onwards, as riding on mountain passes in April may be unsafe due to black-ice formation
  • All riders are required to wear a mandatory riding jacket at all times while riding the bike; failure to do so will result in riding restrictions. 
  • Personal riding gear is highly recommended for safety and comfort. 
  • Fuel is included only for the planned itinerary routes
