Day 1: Arrival in Leh | Entering the Land of High Passes

As your flight descends into Leh, you’re greeted by a landscape that feels almost
unreal—vast mountains, endless skies, and a silence that instantly grounds you.


Upon arrival, you’ll be received at the airport and transferred to your hotel.
The day is intentionally kept free, allowing your body to gently acclimatise to the
high altitude.


Take it slow—sip warm tea, stay hydrated, and let Ladakh introduce itself at its own pace.

Day 2: Leh Local Sightseeing | Culture, Landscapes & Stories

Today, you begin exploring the heart of Leh.

Drive to the fascinating Magnetic Hill, where gravity seems to defy logic. Visit the
peaceful Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, followed by the striking Indus–Zanskar Sangam,
where two rivers merge in contrasting colours.

Continue to the Hall of Fame, a tribute to the Indian Army, before heading to
Shanti Stupa for panoramic views of Leh. Explore the historic Leh Palace and
end your day wandering through the vibrant Leh market.

Day 3: Leh to Nubra Valley | Crossing Khardung La

Today, the real adventure begins

Drive across the legendary Khardung La Pass, one of the highest motorable roads
in the world. As you climb higher, the air gets thinner and the views more dramatic.

Descending into Nubra Valley feels like entering another world—a cold desert
surrounded by towering mountains.

Visit Diskit Monastery, home to a giant Maitreya Buddha statue overlooking the valley.
Later, explore Hunder Sand Dunes, where double-humped camels roam against a
surreal Himalayan backdrop.

Day 4: Nubra to Pangong | The Most Scenic Transition

Today’s journey takes you through the breathtaking Agham one of the
most scenic drives in Ladakh.


The road winds alongside rivers and through untouched landscapes, constantly shifting
in colour and form.


And then you arrive at Pangong Lake—a vast, shimmering expanse of water that
changes shades with the sky.


Spend your evening soaking in the silence and the beauty of this iconic destination.

Day 5: Pangong to Hanle | Into the Remote Frontier

Today, you move beyond the usual tourist circuit and into Ladakh’s most remote regions.

Drive via the Tsaga route towards Hanle, a quiet village known for its stark beauty
and isolation.

Visit the Hanle Astronomical Observatory, one of the highest in the world, where the
night sky feels incredibly close and clear.

Day 6: Hanle to Tso Moriri – Serenity After Adventure

Leave from Hanle, continue your expedition with a drive towards Umling La Pass, the
highest motorable road on Earth—an achievement few get to experience.

Further ahead lies Demchok, the last village near the India–China border, where the
landscape feels raw, untouched, and deeply powerful

Drive towards Tso Moriri Lake, a high-altitude lake known for its peaceful surroundings
and fewer crowds.
The journey itself is mesmerizing—vast open landscapes, changing colours, and
complete silence.

Arrive at Tso Moriri and spend your evening by the lake, where the stillness of the
water mirrors the sky.

Day 7: Tso Moriri to Leh – A Scenic Return

Begin your return journey to Leh via the Chumathang route, known for its geothermal
hot springs and scenic beauty.

En route, visit:
Shey Palace, once the summer capital of Ladakh
Thiksey Monastery, famous for its grand architecture
Hemis Monastery, one of the richest and most significant monasteries in Ladakh

By the time you reach Leh, the journey begins to settle within you - you’ve experienced
Ladakh far beyond the usual routes.

After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey.
